WA: Intruder shot, Refuses Medical Care, Dies



SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -

Spokane County Sheriff's detectives are trying to figure out why a man who was shot by a homeowner Sunday night would hide from police and refuse medical help, even though he was bleeding to death.

The perp might have already had "2-strikes" against him, and he would rather die than go back to prison. In most (every?) state, GSWs (Gun-Shot-Wounds) must be immediately reported by Hospitals to PD, even if they look like an accident. If the perp received medical care, not only would he have got busted, his wound(s) would have been used as evidence against him in court.
