SC: Stepson Attempts Break-in, is Shot, Wounded

According to a sheriff’s office news release, deputies were called to a home on Miller Road in Woodruff at around 8:40 a.m. Tuesday after a homeowner called 911 and said he had shot an unknown man who had broken into his trailer.

When deputies arrived on-scene, they found the suspect — Bobby Joe Williams, 33, of Inman — on a dirt road nearby and saw he had a single gunshot wound to his shoulder area.
