OCOEE, Fla. —
Authorities say a central Florida man shot and killed an intruder who tried to rob him at his home.
Orange County Sheriff's spokesman Angelo Nieves says the homeowner was either the current or former landlord of 41-year-old Luis Angel Rivera. Nieves says Rivera was armed with a knife when he rang the doorbell and demanded money at the Ocoee home Monday.
According to the Sheriff's office, the homeowner fired a warning shot as Rivera entered the home. He shot him again when Rivera didn't stop.
