Boone County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Columbia man
early Saturday morning on suspicion that he refused to leave an
apartment and threatened a man with a gun.
Deputies arrested William R. Harper, 39, after he allegedly pulled a gun from his pocket and hit a resident with the firearm in the 5500 block of Rocky Fork Drive, the sheriff’s department said in a news release. Harper allegedly came to the residence looking for someone and refused to leave, which led to the scuffle, the release said.
