“He comes home real fast. When he gets here he finds two people
inside of his residence and shoots one of the suspects. Both suspects
were able to run out of the house and they ran down the street,” Snapp
said.
One of the boys was captured in the alley. He had been hit
in the ankle. Investigators say his accomplice was caught trying to head
back to class.
Several neighbors spoke to KCTV5 off camera. They
said that finding a stranger in your home isn't so unusual in their
neighborhood and that break-ins are all too common. They said that,
while it's too bad a teenager was shot, they understand why.
