Moms Demand Action Steals my Picture

I had the picture above taken, and wrote the story about it a month ago.  It seems to have hit a nerve, because Moms Demand Action stole the picture and tried to use it for their propaganda.   It is one of the reasons that I copyright these articles and allow for use *if the attribution line is included*.   MDA did not include the attribution line, but their use of the picture is backfiring anyway.

Here is a link to the article at concealednation.org that it generated.    Brandon, the author, did a good job.
As we start reading through the posted comments, we quickly realize that some MDA followers seem quite violent. These aren’t things that we would ever promote, and find it insanely ironic that a follower of an organization such as MDA would promote such violent acts:
It is interesting to find that there are people who want to kill me, simply for exercising my first and second amendment constitutional rights. Linda Andrew Hunsicker wrote:
"If I see a guy carrying a big gun like this while I'm shoping, I have to assume he's a bad guy and shoot him.  It doesn't make sense to wait to see if he shoots someone else first.  He's got a gun in Kroger, I feel threatened, so it's my duty to shoot him first."
I wrote about a prominent TV anchor in Phoenix that expressed the same attitude:
Mark Curtis, anchor, 12News:

"Someones carrying a gun, and they're with their children, and they see a man walk into a Starbucks with a rifle on his shoulder.  What would stop them from blowing your client away?

Marc Victor, attorney
:

Well, the fact that the law prohibits that unless there is an imminent risk of deadly physical force, or....

Mark Curtis, Anchor 12News:

You don't think that a man carrying a rifle in a Starbucks, after what we have seen in Aurora, Colorado, would be enough reason for someone that is carrying a gun to think that they are in imminent danger?
It appears that Linda has expanded the "big gun" category that you can be sumarily executed for, to include such mundane handguns as a Glock 17.   Next people will be wanting to kill their fellow man because they drive an SUV, or maybe because their house is bigger than average.

It would not be the first time.

I think you mean copyright, not copywrite.

Are you going to take any legal action for copyright infringement?

Thank you for the correction.

Thinking about it. It shows insight into their thought processes.

I've never carried a pistol but have no problem with those who do.

But I'm always a little confused when talking with a 'concealed' gun permit holder. Does the certification also include carrying a gun openly as in the picture?
Personally, I'd rather see open rather than concealed carry because I'm kind of a smart ass after drinking and I'd like to know who I'm dealing with.

But the fact overlooked is that MissLinda Andrew Hunsicker admitted to carrying a firearm.

MDA are a bunch of fools. Those people, going by their comments, seem to believe its a simple thing to explain to law enforcement that you shot someone because you simply "felt threatened" and expect to go home to that fancy steak dinner with the wife and kids so you can joke about how you shot someone and got to play hero. Well let me open those closed eyes a little for you. It's different in each state but in general here is what you can expect. Your gun will be confiscated for ballistics testing, do not expect to receive it in the same condition you saw it when law enforcement took it. It will be banged up scratched and in need of repairs. You will be arrested, handcuffed and taken to jail, questioned repeatedly 15 different ways so as to catch any contradictions in your story. Where anything you say can and WILL be used against you. All surveillance video will be taken as evidence and reviewed to see if your story adds up. If it don't expect a lengthy trial for murder, manslaughter, or if your victim survives attempted manslaughter. Then comes the civil law suits against the shooter and in some cases that horrible thing called private justice, cause some families just don't have faith in the criminal justice system at all and can't afford civil suits. The only way to avoid this act is to let the other person draw his gun or is seen carrying it in his hand into a store. In which case I strongly recommend you call 911 immediately and keep them on the line so that everything gets recorded. So if you like being put through the ringer, be my guest. Otherwise put that grey matter that's sitting between your ears to some use.

Re: Ms. Hunsiker's comment - her logic is a bit faulty, isn't it? Or is she one of those anti-gun hypocrites? If she sees someone carrying a gun, she claims she will shoot him. With what? Or is it okay for her to carry a gun but nobody else may?

You just have to shake your head in wonderment, don't you? Sometimes I am just embarrassed to be a female.

Just for the record, certain members of Law Enforcement are REQUIRED to carry their weapon at all times (for example, the FBI).

If this crazy lady wants to shoot anyone she sees with a gun then what happens when someone shoots her first (with ACTUAL cause)
