FL: Witnesses Gather Money to Return to Brinks Driver in Foiled Robbery

A  Brinks driver was attempting to fill an ATM in Orange County, Florida.  A robber approached him from behind, and grabbed at the money bag.  The driver drew his pistol and fired three or four shots at the robber, who fled.  Money flew all over the parking lot.

Witnesses helped recover the cash and returned it to the Brinks Driver.

From the video at  wesh.com:

WE'RE TOLD BY SHERIFFS THAT A BRINKS DRIVER WAS TRYING TO FILLING UP THE ATM WHEN A MAN JUST CAME UP BEHIND HIM, TRIED TO GET THE MONEY IN THAT BRINKS DRIVER STARTED SHOOTING THREE OR FOUR-TIMES AT THE SUSPECT BEFORE HE THEN RAMMED SOME VEHICLES. YOU CAN SEE ONE OF THEM RIGHT THERE THAT SMASHED UP ANOTHER ONE OVER HERE AS WE PAN TO THE LEFT.
It is worth noting that the witnesses helped recover the cash and return it.  This shows a high level of confidence in the criminal justice system.

A few blocks away, several officers were executing a felony stop on a white vehicle.   It was not known if the vehicle contained the robbery suspect.
