MO: Carondelet Park Shooting likely Self Defense
ST. LOUIS • Police say a fatal shooting at Carondelet Park Saturday night appears to have been a matter of self-defense, but the case will be presented to prosecutors for review.
On Sunday, police identified the dead man as Ronnie Carlton, 37, of the 6600 block of Vermont Avenue, just east of the park. Authorities say Carlton was shot after following another man at the park and confronting him in his vehicle shortly before 7 p.m.
