NJ: Armed Neighbor Shoots Rabid Fox after it Bites Resident
EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — A rabid fox tried to get into a home recently and bit a resident in the attempt, police said.
A neighbor shot the animal after it bit the Lees Lane resident, police said. The animal was tested by the Atlantic County Division of Public Health, police said, and it came back positive for rabies.
