OK: Permit Holder Shoot Robber Armed with Crowbar
Tulsa police say a man leaving a Burger King was forced to shoot another man who approached him with a crowbar in a robbery attempt.
It took place at 41st and Memorial on Sunday before 5:30 p.m.
According to police, the man is licensed to carry a concealed weapon and was acting in self-defense.

I think back to the Rodney King videos when all of those cops were using batons on him as a group and wonder why they were not all charged with attempted murder. a baton is just as deadly as a base ball bat or a crow bar. they beat Rodney senseless after he was on the ground. A long bone fracture can be deadly and they were certainly trying to break something.
