NM: Roswell homeowner shoots alleged intruder

ROSWELL, NM — A Roswell man is in the hospital after allegedly trying to break into a home.

“At about 11:15 p.m. Saturday night, we had a gentleman make emergency call and said someone was trying to break in to the back of his house. The intruder had tried to throw a brick through his window and was trying to break in through the back side,” said Roswell police spokesman Todd Wildermuth.
