LA: Woman Fires Shot, Stops Burglary

As a man broke into his neighbor's home in Mount Airy, she grabbed a gun and fired a bullet at him, the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office said Friday (Dec. 18). Randy Alexis, who was not injured by gunshot, was later arrested at his home on the same street and booked with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, simple criminal damage to property and violation of probation or parole, the Sheriff's Office said.
