AZ: Security Guard Shoots Man Armed with Rock
A security guard fatally shot a man Tuesday night after an altercation during which the guard said the man "picked up a large rock," police said.
The man killed was identified as Thomas Allen Dickinson, 35, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson Police Department spokesman, on Aug. 16.

I also believe in the right to carry a weapon. I do and have taken the NRA safety course at age 12 and the CCW class and carry a weapon. I was taught that you never put yourself in a dangerous situation if avoidable, if not, be prepared to shoot if you draw your weapon. However, I think that in this case, there may things that you are not aware of or maybe you are, if so please share.
