OH: Domestic Defense, Woman Shoots Ex as He Attempts Break-In

Police said officers at the scene found Dante Ruff suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his abdomen. He was taken to University Hospital where he underwent surgery and is in serious but stable condition.

Police said the Ruff kicked out the A/C unit and tried to break through the front window.

Police said the woman had a protection order against her ex-boyfriend and had a concealed carry permit. Her five kids were upstairs at the time, police said.

Police said the woman and Ruff have a long, violent past.
