NM:Homeowner Shoots Home Invader

The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department tells Action 7 News they were called to a home on Southfort around midnight Wednesday. There, they say, a man had broken into a home. The homeowner allegedly shot the intruder, taking him down. Emergency crews took the suspect-turned-victim to UNMH. As of the early-morning hours, he was in critical condition but stable.
