“When the victim forced entry inside of the house with a weapon in his
hand, that put the subject inside the house in fear of his life at which
time he was justified in using self-defense,” Lt. Todd Kessinger of
LMPD said. “The victim had a child in common with the lady that lived
[there] she was at that location with her boyfriend. They had a verbal
altercation in reference to their child.
