Jerediah Cruz said he was openly carrying a pistol on his
waist when a man he didn’t know entered the store and began cursing him
and threatening to assault him, according to a police report. Cruz said
he backed away, but the man continued to follow him and wouldn’t leave
so he put his hand on the gun, the report said.

I saw that headline a few times and just took it as normal, I guess and never read it.
As a preteen, I was always walking down our street heading for the woods with dad's shotgun.
Can't do that now, they see you with a piece of black gas pipe and all of a sudden they call the cops saying its a 12-gage. That seems to be all they know, 12 gage, could havd been a .22 for all they know.,
