Followup CA: Christmas Burglar Pleads Out

SANTA ANA – A felon who was shot and wounded by a homeowner in a Christmas morning burglary in Anaheim was sentenced to three years in prison on Wednesday.

Jeremy William Bell, 31, of Fullerton pleaded guilty to felony burglary, aggravated assault and robbery, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office said. Prosecutors said Bell had a prior prison conviction in 2012 in Riverside County for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
