TN: Armed Victim Fires at Theives
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said a suspect tried to steal lawn equipment from a man's yard.
The homeowner, armed with a shotgun, came outside and fired several rounds.
The blasts missed the suspect but struck the alleged getaway vehicle. Another person inside the car was able to drive away.

I had a neighbor that I know stole something from me but I could not prove it. He knew I keep my 12 gauge loaded with double O buck. I stepped out on the porch and jacked a round in and told him to leave. he has not been back since. I do not need friends that steal. It is surprising how fast someone can get into a pickup.
