IN: Armed Woman Shoot Brother's Friend with .22; Alcohol Involved

GARY — A 54-year-old Gary woman accidentally shot her brother's friend after the friend, who had been drinking, mistakenly walked into her bedroom, police said.

The friend — a 48-year-old Gary man — suffered a gunshot wound to his shoulder but did not want to press charges, Gary police Lt. Thomas Pawlak said.
