WV: Domestic Defense, Mother Disarms and Shoots Son who Pistol Whipped Her

HUNTINGTON — After her adult son attacked her with a gun in her home Tuesday night, a Huntington woman allegedly pulled the weapon from the man and shot him multiple times in the stomach and arms.

The shooting happened just after 7 p.m. in the 500 block of North Boulevard, where the 45-year-old man entered his mother’s home and began striking her with the gun, according to responding Huntington Police officers and scanner traffic. The woman managed to take hold of the gun and shoot her son before calling 911.
