NC: Armed Woman Shoots Fleeing 19-Year-Old, is Charged

Brewer saw two males fleeing into a neighbor’s yard so she shot at the males twice, striking one in the left leg.

Brewer called 911 and was cooperative with the investigation.

The victim of the shooting was 19-year-old Nathan Beane of Wanchese. He was transported to Outer Banks Hospital and police say his injuries are non-life threatening.

Brewer was charged with Assault With a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury.
