TX: Employee Shoots Masked Robbery Suspect Several Times

A man who tried to rob a Waco smoke shop at gunpoint Saturday night was shot several times and taken to a local hospital, according to a press release from Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton.

The man demanded money after entering Tee's Smoke Shop, 3528 N. 19th St., with a handgun and wearing a ski mask, Swanton said. A store employee drew a gun and shot the man in the mask several times, he said.
