These saltwater crocodiles were said to have been shot by Wolf Arnett, near Normanton, Australia in the North of Queensland. I stopped in the Albion pub there a few days ago, and one of the patrons filled me in.
The rifle appears to be a Marlin lever action, probably a 94. The caliber was not noted.
A bolt action rifle is shown in other pictures.
