When he peeked around the corner, he was face to face with Davis and shot him several times out of fear, police said.

Davis then ran out of the home while the victim continued calling 911. When police arrived, they found 18-year-old Christopher Mangham attempting to revive Davis. Davis, who was also wearing surgical rubber gloves, was pronounced dead by rescue personnel.
