The homeowner told the man to leave. After the man left, the
homeowner said he found feces close to where the man had been and told
him to clean it up, but the younger man walked away.
The homeowner
followed the man, and a fight ensued near the railroad tracks and Ninth
Avenue. The younger man swung a chain with a padlock at the homeowner,
according to police. The homeowner fell on the ground, and then he fired
a shot, missing the man before firing a second shot in his chest.
