A man took a bullet to the face after breaking into a
house full of marijuana plants in a north Phoenix neighborhood, police
said.
Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson said the
suspect broke in along with several others by smashing through a sliding
glass door with a rock at about 12:30a.m. Friday.
Police said the suspect then tried to kick in the bedroom
door. That’s when the homeowner fired a gun several times through the
door, striking the suspect in the face, authorities said.
