OR: Employee Fires at Armed Suspect, Misses

Stewart said employees at one business discovered a burglar on the property who they thought was armed with a rifle. The suspect was seen chasing the employee when an armed employee fired two rounds at the suspect, but missed, Stewart said.

The suspect, who suffered minor injuries not related to the shooting, was captured and taken into custody by police. The rifle was discovered to be a pellet gun, Stewart said.
