Followup CO: No Charges for 80-year-old in Defensive Road Rage Shooting, Killing

The district attorney will not file charges against a man accused of shooting and killing a 23-year-old man in a Taco Bell parking lot last month.

The DA's office says the evidence points to a road rage incident and that the shooter, 80-year-old Jack Rodgers, was attacked first in the 1500 block of S. Nevada Ave on July 17. Surveillance video shows Garcia lunging through an open window of Rodgers' vehicle, according to the district attorney's office, and Rodgers sustained minor injuries consistent with being hit in the face.
