I was born 72 miles from Indianapolis move to Arizona when I was 12 been back once and it is more disgusting now than it was then and it was pretty disgusting then. I would not move back to Indiana if it was the only nuclear free zone on the planet. I hate the weather there the people are disgusting, other than that I just don't like the place. It reminds me of my trip to NYC. It is like living in black and white movie, everything in in hades of grey and black. the only time you notice color is if the sun manages to find a hole in the clouds and if the clouds disappear it snows without any clouds. really you don't see any clouds and it starts snowing. it stops snowing long enough to rain. everybody is miserable in the summer time if the temp get to 90 degrees. anyone that is white skinned is so white they blind you. and if they are black you cant see them unless they smile and show their teeth at night. everybody claims to be some sort of an Indian tribe member. It is difficult to tell when you leave one town and enter another and a weekend trip is 20 miles from home. A friend of my mothers wanted to drill a water well on her farm what really upset that all the money spent drilling the water well was wasted all they hit was natural gas. Now she can pay to have all the water she needs delivered in 8 ounce bottles. by the train car load. so many useless 60s hippies there you have to comb them out of your mustache and step over them, the place is so full of liberals makes my skin crawl.
