K-9 Officer Shadow was called in and began tracking the
suspects which led them back to the 300 block of Louie Bullock Road. As deputies approached Guthrie Carter a
single gunshot was heard coming from a nearby residence. The deputies then went to the residence after
learning the homeowner had shot the subject they were tracking for attempting
to steal his riding lawn mower. The
shooting victim was identified as Timothy McDaniel, a 39 year old white male of
Kevin Road in the Rainey Community.
