KY: Warning Shot Causes Knife Wielder to Cut Himself

Police told WKYT-TV in Lexington that 45-year-old James Bloom had been urinating on the side of the gas station Sunday night at around 9 p.m. EDT. Police say Bloom took out a knife and yelled racial slurs at the employee while approaching him.

Officers say the employee took out a gun and fired off a warning shot into the air, startling Bloom to the point that he jumped and stabbed himself.

Never fire a "warning shot."
Never never never never.

1. You have just launched a bullet. You are responsible for everything it does until it stops.
2. You now have one less round of ammunition to deal with the situation.
3. You have just convinced the goblin that you're not serious.
