A homeowner, 56, was injured after exchanging gunfire with an intruder, 23, on Wednesday night in Oakland.

During a brief but jarring bout of gunplay, the victim took a shot to
the shoulder, while the suspect got hit in the torso. Both as expected
to recover from their wounds.
