According to Mobile Police, at around 10:55 a.m., police responded to the 800 block of Trailwood Drive East to a report of a home invasion involving two suspects. Police say they later received a call about two men who had driven themselves to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
Police say the victim told them the suspects came into his home, one of them began kicking the door to get into the home.
The victim said as he opened the door, he saw the suspects pulling out their guns and so he shot at them, police say.
Investigators say the suspects also shot back, hit the home multiple times.
