MS: Domestic Defense, Man Shot

LIBERTY — A man in intensive care with a gunshot wound to the body will face aggravated assault charges when he gets out of the hospital, Amite County sheriff’s officials said Thursday.

Jesse Sharp, 53, of 6688 Highway 569 N., Liberty, was wounded in a domestic disturbance which he apparently started, said Sheriff Tim Wroten.
