At Gun Watch, we normally are looking at defensive gun uses. This case is notable because it is another case where the criminals impersonated police. It shows that just because a person claims to be a police officer, they may not be a police officer.
DETROIT – A man was shot Wednesday after a gunman and a police impersonator kicked in the door of a home on Detroit’s west side, police said.
The shooting happened around 5 a.m. Wednesday in the 15400 block of Stout Street, according to authorities.
Police said two men forced their way into the home by kicking in the front door.
