POMPANO BEACH — A man in Pompano Beach shot and killed another man who investigators say broke into a home in the middle of night, but the shooting victim’s family tells a different story.
Brian Lamar Scott Sr., 29, didn’t break in, they say. He had keys to the house in the 1700 block of Northwest 14th Circle. His ex-girlfriend and their 5-year-old son Brian Jr. lived there.
