Officers responded to the scene where the victim, a
34-year-old male, was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds. The
victim was later pronounced deceased at the University of Tennessee
Medical Center.
At this time, it appears the person who shot the victim,
acted in self-defense. However, we are awaiting the results of the
autopsy to make final determinations.
