MO: Gunfight, Rapper Thi'sl Wounded by Robbery Suspect

ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- St. Louis rapper Travis Tremayne Tyler, known as Thi'sl, was shot in the leg Tuesday morning, just after midnight on Washington Avenue and 15th Street.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department say this started as an attempted armed robbery. Police say the rapper had his own gun on him and exchanged gunfire with the suspect. Police say the suspect got into a car with two others and drove off.
