According to authorities, they searched the area for a suspect matching the caller's description. Officers encountered a 22-year-old man who matched the description of one of the individuals involved in the shooting. The man reportedly informed officers he was acting in self-defense, claiming an unknown person fired upon him during an altercation. He stated he returned fire.
