AL: Court House Security Team Shoots 21-Year-Old Ty Austin Bell

Authorities believe the Jefferson County Court House Security Team approached Bell in the parking deck of the 2121 building, then followed him to an alley where an argument lead to a fight before the shooting.

Im a bit angry. I think important details were left out when officers said it. Also he had no weapons, compliant, not under arrest, well at least not before he was shot. What do you think?

I don't know if gun bands kill kids but I can tell you that my son's head almost got blown off with that gun. It was like 2 in ay from killing him. The gun actually hit him in the face, it left a scar. Do realize that this says my son was followed by a security team, outside, attacked and then his head was almost blown off with a gun? That's called attempted murder. This was very traumatic and it made it so much worse that the article made it sound like everyone should be glad he was shot. He wasn't doing anything wrong. There was no reason for shooting him.

I think ubiquitous video surveillance cameras are making it harder for anyone to make up stories. I hope there is video of the event.
