AL: Armed Victim Shoots Armed Robbery Suspect in Both Legs



BIRMINGHAM, AL - Birmingham police are awaiting the recovery and release of a man from a local hostpital before charging him with armed robbery. The man was shot in both legs by a person he had robbed at gunpoint.

We all know these are desperate economic times. Yet, it seems an act of fatal foolishness for criminals to attempt armed robbery in a state that has very good victim-armament laws.

But, "play stupid games, win stupid prizes".

There are a few state legislators (Dems, in Dem districts) who want to repeal SYG and Castle laws in Alabama. The response from the majority of Alabamians has been less than respectful towards those proposals.
