TX: 13-Year-Old Shoots Man Assulting Grandmother

BROWN COUNTY — A 13-year-old male in Brown County on Sunday allegedly shot a man assaulting the teen's grandmother, according to a Brown County Sheriff's Office news release.

The man sustained a gunshot wound to his lower back from a 30-caliber rifle and was transported by helicopter to an out-of-town hospital, the release said.
