SPARTANBURG, S.C. —
Surveillance video showing a shooting ruled as self defense will not be released to the public, after the family of the man killed asked that it be kept private.
The family of Travis Draper and Spartanburg County Councilman Monier Abusaft got to see the surveillance video. The sheriff's office said that Abusaft agreed that the other driver was justified in the shooting, but said that he should have notified law enforcement earlier of his involvement in the shooting.
