A homeowner in his 60s shot a man who broke into his Adams Run residence after midnight on Sept. 3.
The
suspect, Lawrence Butler Jr., of Adams Run, was immediately taken to a
hospital for treatment. Charleston County Sheriff’s deputies booked the
37-year-old man into the county jail later that morning on charges of
first-degree burglary and cocaine possession, according to spokesman
Andrew Knapp.
