TN: Memphis - Victim of Drive-by was Wounded and Shot Back

The vehicle was identified and an arrest was made

The victim told officers he was sitting at the apartment steps when some men pointed a gun at him and started shooting. 

He said he fired back in self-defense and ran inside the apartment while bleeding to get his brother to seek medical help.

A witness told MPD he saw the victim sitting on the steps outside of his apartment when four men walked past him and toward where the victim was sitting.

The witness said he heard a shooting and the suspects then fled the scene, officers said.
