Police identified 42-year-old Jonatan De Jesus Dzul Aguilar as a guest who they say began “behaving aggressively” toward female guests, repeatedly grabbing and disrespecting them.
Police said Idalberto Garcia Cardenas intervened and told Aguilar to stop.
Investigators allege Aguillar struck Cardenas over the head with a ceramic vase, causing a large contusion. Police said a tussle then followed, which caused Cardenas to pull out a gun.
As the two men struggled for control of the weapon, it discharged, striking Aguilar in the face, according to police.
Police said both men were injured in the altercation.
