No formal charges have been filed after a 65-year-old-man shot an
intruder in the Wynnville area around noon on Sunday, according to Capt.
Pat Thomas of the Blount County Sheriff’s Department. Thomas says the
man came through the backdoor of the 65-year-old’s double-wide mobile
home on Wilson’s Chapel Road and the resident shot him with a small
handgun.
