INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Metro Police say an Indianapolis homeowner shot the man who had broken into his home early Friday morning. The home is in the 5600 block of Willowridge Court in Decatur Township. The homeowner, Wallace Turner, told police he, his wife and 5-year-old daughter were sleeping around 1:45 a.m., when the intruder kicked in the back door. Turner said he grabbed his handgun and ran down the hall to confront the burglar who was standing in his living room.Turner said, "He wasn't getting past me. My wife and daughter were behind me.
