CO: Early A.M. Intrusion Results in Shooting



According to Denver Police, around 4:15 a.m., they received a report of a possible break in and shooting in the intersection of South Wolff Street and West Exposition Avenue. A short time later, a man walked into a local hospital with a gunshot wound. He had non-life-threatening injuries.

The homeowner reportedly heard someone hopping the fence when he was home with two kids. The homeowner called their relatives who showed up at the property. One of the relatives shot the alleged intruder who was in the homeowner's backyard.
